Welcome to the Merrillville Education & Conferencing Center - Merrillville Website!
This is not your typical sterile, cinder-block, tiled-floor college classroom building. IWU’s Class-A facility includes all the amenities of a modern, commercial office building. Conference guests will find the all areas of the building including classrooms, study areas, hallways and break areas beautifully decorated, carpeted, and extremely comfortable and inviting for an afternoon workshop or week-long training session.
In addition to the facility itself, IWU offers services that conferencing clients need to deliver their sessions. To cover the technical needs of the conferencing client IWU has data projectors, computers, sound equipment, telephone lines, Wi-Fi and corded internet access, overhead projectors, white boards, and computers available for rental. IWU can also coordinate catering for your conference or make a recommendation for local vendors who have provided catering in the past.
The IWU – Merrillville Education & Conference Center is centrally located directly near I-65 and Hwy 30. The Education Center is 40 minutes from downtown Chicago and 60 minutes from Chicago’s Midway Airport. Please feel free to call us for directions.
